Limehouse Loop

A loop walk that follows canal towpaths to the Limehouse Basin: the Limehouse Cut, Hertford Union Canal, and the Regent's Canal. The route is 8.5 kilometres (just over 5 miles). All welcome on the walk, which is free of charge.

These walks will take place in all weathers.
Meeting Point
The walk starts and ends at Victoria Park at The Pavilion Cafe (also known as Lakeside Pavillion) near Grove Road (enter the park at Near Crown Gate West). Buses 277 or 425 (from Mile End Station) or buses D6, 8 or 339 and a short walk. The D6 and 8 run from Bethnal Green Station.

- Greenway (Northern Outfall Sewer) and London Olympics 2012 building site
- Abbey Mills Pumping Station
- Three Mills, The Miller's House Cafe (break for refreshments)
- Bow Locks
- Limehouse Cut
- Limehouse Town Hall
- Limehouse Basin
- The Regent's Canal
- Ragged School Museum
- Return to Victoria Park
After the Walk
The Eleanor Arms is a fine pub, near the Gunmakers' Gate and provides a warm welcome to walkers.
